In response to the editorial “KIVO Must Go (4/20/09):” I have to begin by saying that I found this article to be very offensive, especially in light of the incident that transpired this past weekend. Even though Jews constitute a minority of the F&M community, does that mean that the school should ignore the one holiday of the year when we require strict dietary practices? You do not have to practice or even believe in these religious restrictions, but to call them “foolish and backward” is just plain disrespectful. Full story
