A re-evaluation of Shutter Island

Scorsese’s film is better described as a work of art

In response to last week’s review of Shutter Island (“Someone is missing (and so is clarity)”), I must say I object. It had some minor flaws, but overall the film was much better than that article would lead one to believe.  Admittedly: the first five minutes were painful ticks on the clock that filled the audience with worry.
